Quarts and Pint Pots - the problem of packing

Observe the issue! First picture is the majority of my kit ( on the right and in a jumble) and some of the Mechanic's kit - neatly folded but incomplete. Second picture is of my two panniers fully packed and ready to go, C's are what could loosely be referred to as 'work in progress'. At time of going to press one of his bags is twice as full (and twice as heavy) as the other - however as he has a list of what goes in each pannier he is struggling to sort it out. I, on the other hand, just bung stuff in randomly and assume I will have to take everything out every night to find what I need. Tonight could be a long night.......We are planning to get out for a trial ride to check the weight distribution and balance on the bikes, so the first corner should be interesting
